Looking back at the pictures umi and ayah captured when we were living in Liverpool, I believe they used to have interest in photography too. I guess that's how I develop my interest - since it's coded in the gene. Maybe. 

I'm an amateur. Super amateur, I am. Though I have Mr N with me, I still have a very long way to go. So many things to be explored through the lens. Each time I'm looking at awesome photos, I'm going to be down with my lack of skills in photography. In fact, I think I know nothing of Mr N, really. What's with all the terms. Memang kelam la kalau orang tanya. Setting segala apa pun bukannya reti sangat. Sigh. Mr N, please bear with me. I'm not going to give up on you.

I feel like spending my time with akhawat(s) who are into photography too. So that I can learn more. Kalau pi program pun lagi-lagi ikhwah je dengan kamera power nya. Jealous betul. Takkan nak pi menuntut dengan ikhwah pulak. Heh. Like the other day when I became the faci during a mukhayyam, the ikhwah is using Nikon too, tapi entah segala benda accessories dia power betul. Fish eye lah, wide lens lah, speedlight entah berapa banyak dia guna entah. There, I am with my Mr N yang kerdil. Akak-akak semua kept on pushing me to take the pictures of adik-adik peserta perempuan using Mr N. I keep on repeating that the pictures I take, are nowhere near to the ones the ikhwah take. Agak perang jiwa di situ. Berapi rasa nak jadi akhawat yang hebat photography juga. Dari akhawat, untuk akhawat. Wah gitu. Berangan. Tak apa, inshaAllah inshaAllah.

"Umi, angah suka sangat tengok masjid mashaAllah! Macam cool kan kalau angah travel ambil gambar masjid? Rasa macam nak pi Turki ke mana-mana ke yang masjid lawa-lawa."

'Aah. Angah buat dokumentari ke pun macam best. Eh. Tapi awak tu perempuan. Mana boleh nak jalan sana-sini sorang-sorang selalu.'

"Alaaa.."

'Angah, umi tengok tv tadi geng DSLR naik Broga. Pastu masing-masing cerita berapa lama diorang simpan duit nak beli DSLR. Awak tu, kira dapat free-free aje tau. Jaga elok-elok kamera tu.'

"Okay umi..."

Cita-cita nak panjat Broga dengan Mr N di Subuh hari dah tercapai alhamdulillah. Masuk hutan dengan Mr N pun dah pernah. Sampai kotor la beg dia terkena lumpur. Sila sabar dengan tuan awak yang suka meredah sana sini ya, Mr N! Tuan awak ni memang bukan spesis yang suka sangat nak bawa awak pergi tempat makan mahal-mahal lepas tu ambik gambar, bukan spesis pergi shopping lepas tu bawa awak ambik gambar dekat cermin. (talking to your camera can sometimes be good)

Ni tengah mood nak shoot video ni. Nak sketch ideas pastu nanti heret la siapa-siapa mintak tolong berlakon. *wide grin*
